As a new player, I can say CyberASSAULT is one of the friendliest muds I've ever played. All the players are very knowledgeable and more than happy to assist in any questions or problems you might have. Players vary from the very new, to the legends that have been there since the beginning. There is always someone around to talk to despite being a smaller mud.
The areas are great and very unique! I really enjoy searching through all the areas to see what mobs are there, where the hidden rooms are, what new treasures can be found, and figuring out the area puzzles. They are updated frequently and new ones are also being created, and I was able to beta test a new area to get a first look at all the new content soon to come.
The environment of the game is also one of my favorite factors of the game. It is really thrilling, fighting for your life through the use of automatic weapons, as well as the use of equipment slots not seen in other muds, such as nose ring, implant, face, and new ones coming like chipjack.
Remorting is something to look forward to making your character much more powerful. There are 4 basic classes; with 2 additional classes for people have 2x remorts under their belt, with special abilities that can only be obtained by remorting.
Lastly, the quest system is really neat with two different methods in place. The first method is an auto quest, where a different token will be place somewhere in the mud and if you obtain 10 unique pieces, you can assemble them for a very strong quest item. The other method is handed out by one of the representatives, where a different objective is personally assigned to you, and if carried out successful, rewards will be given. Just a few of the quest types given are bounty hunter, scavenger hunt, and mud trivia.
Overall this mud is really enjoyable, and full of very friendly people. The mud itself is full of many unique pieces of equipment, areas to explore, and monsters to kill. Whether it be hanging out, or killing everything in sight, CyberASSAULT is definitely a mud everyone should check out.
