Sindome is a great Roleplaying experience. The cyberpunk theme is something you can really get into. This was my first RP enforced MUD/MOO.
I was always the hack'n'slash type that didn't really care for RP, but Sindome completely changed my mind on it. There are many plots that you can involve yourself with in Sindome, and numerous ways you can play out your character. Emoting is a large part of roleplay, and it makes the possibilities prectically endless(within reason).
There are many features as well to take advantage of, many it will probably take you months to a year to even know they are there. Whether you want to be a fist fighter, a weapon specialist, sword carrier, sniper, qunslinger, medic, singer, tattoo artist, tailor, promoter, reporter, salesman... anything you'd like, there is a way to play it out.
One important thing to remember is you will NOT enter the game capable to kill any PC or NPC you want, you will NOT be a badass when you are new, it will take time, but that is what the RP is for.
The playerbase is great and willing to help new players establish themselves, the staff is friendly and helpful. It is a great place to play, and if you have the free time, you will find yourself completely immersed in this virtual world.
If I have one critique of this MOO, it is this. I would like it if some of the admins were a bit more active, or perhaps a few admins dedicated specifically to puppeting NPCs to advance plotlines. Sometimes it can get frustrating waiting for the staff to not be busy with other projects to advance your own roleplay, but there is enough going on throughout the world to keep yourself entertained in the meantime. Besides that, the theme in this world is struggle and pain... So it does make sense to be left waiting at some points.
Like I said, it is a great game and it's growing all the time. So come check it out, I'm sure you won't be let down. You just need a hint of patience to get to where you want to be. We'll be waiting.
