πŸ”³ Star Wars - Age of Alliances MUSH πŸ”³
Age of Alliances was created in 2000 and launched in 2001. Its been over 22 years of text-based role-playing in the Star Wars galaxy. Having followed the series through all the new iterations and incorporating as much as it could while remaining cohesive to its own canon, the MUSH timeline is now nearly 20 years after the events of Rise of Skywalker and a lot has happened.

In recent years, AoA centered around the aftermath of the First Order's fall and the rise of a new Jedi Order under the guidance of Rey Skywalker, but even in those should-be peaceful times, there was plenty of turmoil. The Knights of Ren were active, and pockets of the First Order continued to maintain their iron grip on several planets while the New Republic struggled to build a stronger foundation. The survivors of Alderaan's destruction have found themselves a permanent new home in the same system and have worked to rebuild their society. While in the Outer Rim, a new Mand'alor rose wielding the Dark Saber and triggered a war among the Mandalorian Clans; some who united under Djarin and others who refused.

It is now the future beyond those troubling times. A new threat has risen and taken hold. From the bowels of Exegol came a new Sith Empire. One that seeks to erase the legacy of Palpatine and succeed where his efforts failed. Much of the Core Worlds have fallen under Sith control and many planets joined the fold to prevent the horrors befalling them as what befell Chandrila and Dac. The New Republic has shattered and the Jedi Order, strong in numbers yet driven into hiding, have rallied to fight this new threat. A new rebellion has gathered, dedicated to never give up. To prove that each time darkness rises, so too will those willing to fight.

Beyond the two warring factions, there are stories to told among the independent factions. Smugglers, Criminal Underground, Mandalorians, Civilians, etc. There is a place for people to forge their own stories in a climate of war and survival. With a wealth of coded planets to explore and an active staff and playerbase to help build these tales, a wealth of adventure awaits.

πŸ”³ FAQ: πŸ”³
Question: "Can I be in the Sith Empire or the Rebellion?"
Answer: "Yes, you can! The Sith Empire isn't just Sith-run. There are non-FS characters there who operate much as any government agents would. There is a slew of opportunities. Same for the Rebellion who has built up a formidable fleet and will be fighting alongside Jedi to push back once again their ancient enemies."

Question: "Can I be a civilian or a criminal?"
Answer: Absolutely, you can! There are a plethora of Organizations looking for new members to help participate in their plot-lines too, all civilian themed! SW:AoA's galaxy is huge and it offers a plethora of civilian-themed locales for RP and TPs.

Question: "Can I be a Mandalorian?"
Answer: "We've a large number of Mandalorians on the game who are focused on the goings-on of the culture, people, and planet. There are existing clans you can join or go solo and still freely participate in any faction-run event as Mandalore struggles to stabilize while the looming threat of the Sith hovers."

Question: "I want to be a Force User with a lightsaber."
Answer: Force Sensitive characters have to remain limited because a game with "too many" is a game where its no longer fun to meet them, see them, fight them, or save them. It's not impossible, though! We have a robust system for players to earn the chance to apply for such a specialized character starting at several different tiers.

Question: "What species can I be?"
Answer: "AoA has a ever-growing list of species you can choose from with flexibility, as well. If there is a race you are wanting to play that you do not see on the list, you can request to see if it can be added for you. But all in all, most of the major species you know and love are accounted for and nearly all are open for play."

Question: "Why should I make a character?"
Answer: "Because the sooner you make a character the quicker the game gets even healthier. And the faster you start earning Experience Points to build your character's skills up and earn more toward making the character you want.
