Effective April 20th, 2012 TMC will no longer be offering commercial ad banner advertising. Instead we will be providing free banner advertising for the muds that are listed on the TMC website.
All logos submitted via the TMC listings system will be elligible for display on various pages within the website, these pages will randomly select logos from the mud listings so if you have not yet submitted your banner-sized logo now is a great time. Logo submissions are handled via the TMC mud listings system ( there is no need to contact us unless you are unsure if your logo is age-appropriate for this website ).
Additionally, we will be selecting specific banners to be displayed on the front page of the TMC website as well as other designated pages. We will be selecting these banners with consideration for the following factors:
- Banners should be at least 720px in width and should not exceed 90px in height ( some exceptions may be made ).
- Banners should be high quality and we will be taking note of color schemes used in the banner art that complement the TMC color palette.
- These banners will link to the mud's homepage, so those homepages should be reachable and in working order ( eg not a placeholder or bare website ).
- Though not mandatory we greatly appreciate those websites that link back to TMC and/or provide TMC vote buttons. We may consider link-backs for those banners that we are on the fence about.
If you believe your banner meets the above requirements please contact the TMC administration but keep in mind that no guarantees are implied that any submitted banner will necessarily be included in this list.
Its been many years since we first made the decision to start selling banner advertising on the site and we are proud to finally be in a position where we can comfortably offer this service for free to all of the muds that have helped TMC grow over the years.
