Google - An all around great search engine AltaVista - One of the more comprehensive and easily navigable search engines. Excite - Another search engine. HotBot - My personal favorite. One drawback is a limit of 1500 results for any search. InfoSeek - Nicely organized search engine. The Open Directory Project - The largest human-edited directory of the web. OpenText - Older search engine which seems to be pretty much out of date. WebCrawler - Another comprehensive search engine which is spider driven. Yahoo - Search engine which is heavily categorized.
