The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Abish] and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.

For over 12 years I was a loyal player of medievia. I routinely donated to the game, assisted in testing and participated very actively in discussing new and ongoing development issues for the game as part of the enclave and player run government. At one time I was even a zone builder.

I have watched them game dwindle away over the years even as new, and often fun, features were added. The primary cause for this was, sadly, the obvious disdain the owner of the game harbors for his player base. I do not say this in jest or in bitterness, it is well documented through his interactions with players and he has even stated clearly that he wishes he had no players as they impede development.

Earlier this very day we had a discussion in which I was insulted personally(transcript below). I asked for an apology and was instead punished. When I complained about this all of my characters and their hundreds of dollars worth of donation equipment were deleted.

I'm sorry it came to this break, but I can offer only one piece of advice for any prospective new or returning players: find another game, this one is dead and it was killed by its creator Vryce(aka Michael Krause).

[Wed Aug 22 16:53] Vryce(148):: or are you just an asshole?
[Wed Aug 22 16:54] Abish:: I wont know until I see what they are, but I dont call you names and I'd appreciate the same from you
[Wed Aug 22 16:55] Abish:: I'll be waiting for an apology once your temper cools, i guess
[Wed Aug 22 16:55] Vryce(148):: abish is gagged for a year, thats my appology
