I began playing this MUD perhaps a week ago.
I was instantly welcomed by an exceptionally friendly IMM staff and led to a Holiday quest.
The TMC review of this is a bit out of date,
as the helpfile system is quite complete and helpful as of this review.
The playerbase is smallish, but fairly active, and the IMMstaff seem to be working behind the scenes.
There seem to be far more than enough quests and such to keep people who like that sort of thing happy,
remorting is not made insanely difficult,
equipment is plentiful and reasonable to get,
and other players helpful in acquiring it and selling it cheaply on the mudwide market/auction system.
I can not say enough how much fun I have been having here in the past few days.
If you are a fan of hack and slash, high bodycounts,
and not a fan of rampant PK or forced half-hearted RP,
this place will probably make you happy.
This MUD also features options for blind players with screen readers specifically
(a category at least one or two active players make use of),
for those who are require it,
and would be reasonably good for a total MUD newbie to start on, regardless.
