I first started Black Sands MUD with another friend of mine who goes by Daevic.
His idea was to create a world where an outpost of the world's last survivors were at
siege with the enemy, a dark magickal creation called Mora. Since 2007 both Daevic and
I have been working hard on the game. I have written thousands and thousands of lines
of code including an advanced magick system with separate types of Sorcerer and Elemental
magick. I have also written advanced combat skills and a completely custom and unique
psionicist system. At Black Sands MUD everyone has some small skill with psionics and most
are able to make contact with other beings through use of those skills thus making it easy
to find your friends and conquer your enemies. We've struggled throughout the years
to maintain an active staff and playerbase due to several server issues that kept us down
for periods at a time.
