The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Bardock] and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.

Those of you who have played Saga a little over a decade ago should
remember me as one of the few imms who interacted with players. I was
the original Bardock ADMIN of the MUD DBSaga, I have more or less been
out of mudding since that MUD was torn down by its owner Warren.
Reason beind none of the clones were really doing much for me. Until I
found Nexus of Dimensions, I think the reason behind this is because
unlike most MUD’S when you join them after such a long time like I
did you know you have no hopes of catching the top players, at best
you can do is try to have fun with a game that feels /exactly/ the
same as a outdated mud use to feel.

Yes, the PL gains in NoD when you first join them is a bit “wtf”
but the reason behind that is because the coder who I’ve yet to find
a person half as good as him created a special code that helps newbies
to catch up. So you log in and boom you gain 200k on your first kill
and 10mil on the next kill. I know what you’re thinking “well
that’s icky” I couldn’t disagree more. Being the strongest
character in NoD I have no problems with new players having awesome
gains and being capable of catching up to me, that makes things even
more exciting to me.

So okay maybe I sold you on the pl gains maybe not, but what about
the gameplay, I can’t promise you it’s completely different then a
saga clone outside of the plgains, zeni gains, and stats. What I can
tell you is we are constantly changing and attempting to come up with
new ways to draw in new players. Got a concept on your mud and its
literally the only thing keeping you there, bring it up on the
idea’s board. These ideas’ are heard and considered by our staff.
Which is another thing I dis like about other muds; do you really need
30 staff for the 10-20 players you got? Seriously. Gtfo with that
crap. Anyway I digress, the ideas suggested are generally implemented
and always looked at/talked about. One more thing I would like to add,
there are currently ideas on our boards that we are looking into
trying to really try and spice things up a change in the skill system
(instead of spamming abilities) for starters. So I really suggest
ya’ll check in sometime and try us out. We aren’t just your
typical DBZ Saga clone as we are trying to broaden our diversity by
implementing new races from other animes and becoming a true to its
name “Nexus of Dimensions.
