Greetings all prospective players, This review is mainly to highlight
the changes and advancements the Forsaken Lands have made since the
last post. Over the last two years, our players and staff have striven
to improve upon the fantasy world we call home. New areas have been
added, and stock areas replaced. Roleplay plots, both global and
customized, have come and gone, and many more are in the works. With a
dedicated and active coder, an active and respective Staff
Implementer, and a host other dedicated players the MUD continues to
improve.
Admittedly, I am biased in regards to MUDs. I, myself, heavily focus
on Roleplay, and Aabahran has delivered that better than any other RP
mud I have played (and I have tried a few).
The bulk of this engaging world, it's history and happenings, are
many, if not most times, the brainchild of our players. This is not to
say however, that the staff takes a back seat. On the contrary, at
nearly any time a staff member is available for roleplay or to help in
other regards.
There is a motto of ours; 'With strong, consistent RP, anything is
possible.'
But perhaps RolePlay isn't your 'thing?' While RP is indeed
enforced, Player-Killing and Player-vs-Environment aspects of the game
are also a big part of the experience. Pit yourself against players
the world over for pulse-pounding excitement or against horrifying
creatures the lurk in dark corners for glory or equipment.
Whatever your pleasure, I can tell you the Forsaken Lands will
provide. Name your hero, or villain, and play your part in shaping
Aabahran as you wish.
