The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Shidas]

Over the last year or so I've become extremely bored playing the same
games over and over. Particularly WoW and Guild Wars. To me, they
seem to be nothing more than a group of twelve-year-olds. Maybe
it is due to me being quite a bit older than most of the players I
see there. One of the more mature players told me about a mud that
she played upon and the idea of a game where I can let my imagination
roam freely intrigued me.
I spent quite a bit of time looking over material about muds and what
they are. Going through the different games lists of the various
sites, I started playing the different types of code bases offered.
I had more fun playing Envy and its family tree than any other. I
started playing around on EoS games...In which there are only two.
Go figure. But of the two, I enjoy playing Dragon's Exodus more.
To me, playing Dragon's Exodus now that they have performed quite a
bit of coding changes makes it a better game to play. I do not like
having everything handed to me on a silver plate. It took me less
than two hours to get to a point in which I could have a spell that
would take me to ANYONE in the game. Two hours??? Seriously. A
spell such as that would be more of a high level magic spell than one
that you could learn in a few hours of playing.
Well, from an RP point of view a spell which lets you go from one
point to another would be a higher level spell to learn. Which is
why I like the fact that they made it into a higher level spell.
You do have some people whining about the fact that they have to
'walk' everywhere. Ummm....portals....Which can lead you to minutes
of where you want to go.
In general, I enjoy playing here because I like the atmosphere. There
are not a bunch of childish people complaining about stuff left and
right...Which is quite annoying. I do not see bunches of people danc-
ing about in there alltogether like I saw on Guild Wars. Thank the
gods for that one. The gaming staff I like.
There is only one problem I have playing here. And that is that there
are not enough players. Which I do not understand as the game is
actually a better place to play now than what it was. At least from
my point of view. But, like I stated above, I do not like having
everything handed to me on a silver platter.
