It is hard in online games to strike a balance between gameplay
and roleplaying. Most times, you find yourself immersed in either
an aggressive PvP environment or in an entirely specific roleplaying
environment. Neither is really satisfying for very long.
Forgotten Kingdoms strikes a good balance of roleplay and gameplay.
It is roleplay with teeth, you might say. The players are
friendly towards new players and help to facilitate an enjoyable
experience. Having an established storyline (Forgotten Realms) as a
backdrop helps develop continuity. Overall, it's a well-balanced
game.
