The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Corvette] and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.

I've had a rather lengthy tenure at Project Bob and seen it through
it's many updates and retoolings. I was one of the early players who
joined after playing at Matrim's earlier mud Age of Legends. Often
during the early playtime here I was one of maybe a handful of
people logged on (including the few Imms we had at the time).

I'm not quite sure who the 'voice of the old school AoLers' is on the
other review but I'll just say I respectfully disagree with the
assumptions he/she makes. During my playtime on Bob I'll say it's been
some of the most enjoyable I've had on an online multiplayer game.
I've spent short stints in the popular graphical MMO's over the years
(EQ, EQ2, WoW) but something always brings me back to PB. Maybe it's
the game itself or the people I've met. I'll say by and large the
people and staff of the mud have been one of the biggest factors on
keeping me here. Always helpful and willing to listen to ideas and
concerns.

The actual mechanics of the game I could write pages on itself. I'll
keep it short and say the depth and sheer variety in things to do
makes it so it's hardly ever boring. If your thing is grinding solo or
w/ groups, quests, missions, dueling, or even building your own
private estate there is always something to do. One of the qualms I
have with more traditional MMO's is the fact that unless you have
hours to devote at a time nothing can really be accomplished. Here you
can log on for 10 mins of 4-5hours and have fun and feel rewarded for
you time. The game can be a little overwhelming at first for brand new
players, but extensive tutorials and helpful players/staff are almost
always there.

Maybe this is rambling, but the main point as a whole I've enjoyed my
time playing here at PB. It's one of the few games that has been able
to capture my attention for such an extended period of time.
