Very glitchy game. If you kill a rat, it can crash the mud, so can a
number of other things. Due to a few bugs in the game, you have all
the established players walking around with maxed out character
sheets, and that means 10's in every stat, ability, and discipline. I
found the game to be heavy PK, and the other players to be cliquish,
and unwelcoming of new players. I wasn't there two days, before an
established player with a maxed out character decided that 'Being
new' to the city was reason to scourge my character.
Admin are never present, Like I've yet to see one. I was told by
other players that them being around was rare, but if I emailed, I
might receive an Email in a week or so. I popped in a few times over
the course of a few months, with no changes. I would highly suggest
not wasting your time, and if you do, try and avoid other players
until your character is *Extremely* combat ready. RP here boils down
to a lot of rolling die, and that's about it.

I'm sorry to hear that this individual had such a poor experience.
I pride myself on being responsive to emails and around fairly
regularly.
It's not uncommon for new players to believe that there are never any
staff around, however this misconception is an intentional choice.
We're player moderated, which means we want everybody to engage and
get acquainted with the system and make their own stories. Being
player moderated, arguing for a style of play that goes against the
cultural norms of the group does sometimes cause issues.
I am very surprised at the references to RP being dice-roll driven.
In the time I've been running/playing/rping on PT, I've rolled dice
once. Dice are not necessary on a regular basis, nor is combat a major
part of play for most people.
To Eric: I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but having done a check
of characters, logs, code and timelines, I'm not finding the situation
to be as you described.
