The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Mikey] and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.

I have to preface this review by saying that it would never be
possible to describe all of the features available to you on Project
Bob in 10,000 characters, so I'm going to have to touch on the best
points.

First and foremost, this mud is consistently updated in accordance
with player requests and comments. I complained about something for a
few days and logged on to find it had been taken care of. This is very
rare.

The biggest draw to myself on Project Bob is the account system,
which allows you to link an set of players together, all of them
sharing certain account benefits, which are earned via a 'PerkPoint'
system similar to the Perk system in the popular 'Fallout' series of
PC games. This means that no matter how you are playing or what you
feel like doing on that day, you are always building your characters
up. The account system also grants a 100% (or more) experience bonus
to your characters that are lower than the largest, which makes
playing alternate characters a lot more fun. You've already struggled
to gain your high level, why repeat that?

The other strongpoint of Project Bob is the equipment system. It is
quite similar to the PC game 'Diablo' in that all of the equipment
that you pick up is randomized and automatically suited to your
current player level. Each piece of equipment has a 'prefix' and
'suffix' enchant, meaning that the possibilities for customization
are nearly endless. As you progress in the game, you will create your
own equipment from base items to suit your character and play style.

Finally, the Immortals that run this mud are eager to listen to and
consider the things that they players have to say, and are even active
players themselves! This responsiveness insures that any issues that
may arise are handled quickly and without stress. On top of that, the
Immortals have a very clear understanding of what it is to be a player
on Bob, and this compassion for the players shows through in the ease
of play and clear, concise instructions provided.

Don't play Project Bob if you're married or have a job that you
like, because you'll probably play so much that you'll lose both.
