The following review is the opinion of the review's author [PoF Isaac]
and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.
EdenMUSH is a social roleplaying MUSH for roleplay in a cyberpunk
setting. The MUSH at one time had a different theme and has only
recently been opened as it's current incarnation (recently being a
few days ago). The MUSH is set in a space station called New Eden in
the near-future. The theme is akin to the Sprawl Triology (which can
be found on the internet) or the Matrix. If you've seen The Matrix
or Ghost in the Shell or .hack or something along those lines, you
get what cyberpunk is.
There aren't alot of features on the MUSH so far and since the MUSH
is being advertised as social roleplay centered, there likely won't
be many. There won't be a skill system for instance. There aren't
any combat judges or dice rolls. It's perhaps the way MUSHing was
intended. There isn't an arduous application process either. This is
stripped down and laid back.
Personally, as a player, I'd like to see some fun RP and plots and
such. I'm going to try to make that happen, too. But, if you're only
a casual Roleplayer who likes to hang out and chat and do a scene
here or there or just like to observe, you're completely welcome to
join - thus the /social/ roleplay.
The MUSH is still young and I'm the only player they have right now,
so, if you want to get in on a MUSH at the ground floor and have a
chance to shape the theme or gameplay, here's your chance. At
EdenMUSH they feel that the players are integral to the creation of
an exiting and entertaining theme and even have incentives for those
who wish to help in any way possible.
So, log in, make a character and then(!) @mail Isaac because I'm
looking for some fun cyberpunk RP!
