The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Vassir] and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.

I have played on numerous MUDs since the 90's and Project Bob has
been one of my favorite - it's kept me happily occupied for the last
3 years! :)

Let me tell you how Project Bob measures up in the most important
aspects of a MUD:

ATMOSPHERE: Relaxed and fun! The pbase on Project Bob, which ranges
from about 10-20, is a great group of people who are always willing
engage in conversation. This often leads to some hilarious situations.
For example:

'21:00:45] Marehoff OOC: 'I am NOT giving up my rubber-chickenn
hat'' '[10:02:21] Foxtail OOC: 'you leave my bosom out of this''

GAMEPLAY: Well, as you can see from the MUD description, there are
TONS of things to do. Tired of hacking and slashing? Try testing the
incredibly developed quest system, hunt for treasure, craft your
equipment, or enter the arena! As a new player, you may feel
overwhelmed...this brings me to the next important aspect!

HELP RESOURCES/NEWBIE TREATMENT: First, the game has a very developed
hfile system. Thanks to the diligent work of our IMMs, a helpfile
exists for nearly every aspect of the game. Can't find what you're
looking for? Ask over the Q/A channel. In all my years of playing, I
have never seen a respectfully asked question go unanswered :) Too shy
to ask globally? Check out our WIKIpedia page, or better yet,
'petition' one our Tutors!

IMMSTAFF: Ah...the most important, and potentially most disastrous,
part of a MUD. Matrim, the head coder, has steered this MUD true for
years with one overriding motto: 'The Player's enjoyment of the MUD
comes first.' That means no death traps, no impossibly obscure
quests, and the ability to 'remake' you character (while retaining
all its EXP/EQ) at any time.

Along with Matrim, the other Immortals are constantly working to
improve the MUD - we recently had a Memorial Day Quest :) Most of the
Immortals are usually visible and are always willing to chat and
answer questions. All of them have mortal alts too, and can often be
seen enjoying the MUD along with the regular players.

Despite their relaxed demeanor, the Immortals will not tolerate any
breaking of the Rules. You can be assured as a player that your
experience on Project Bob will not be ruined by excessively rude or
immature behavior from other players:)
