This mud is incredible. It was the first mud I ever played and to
this day I still play it. Multiple races and classes including
subclasses to choose from. Hundreds of combinations waiting to happen.
Great areas to explore. Helpful Immortals for both older players and
newbies. Players that help newbies.
Though more of an adult mud, it is a great mud to become a part of.
New stuff goes in randomly, but is always worth the wait. I am a Xaos
player for life, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good time,
good people, and good RP.

Xaos is the best mud I have ever played. Over the years I have tried
other muds but none of them compare to Xaos. It became the mud I use
to size up other muds and none so far have been able to best it.
With so many features it is hard to put them all down in this review,
but there is a large race selection to choose from at the start and
more you can unlock when you get some hours on your belt. These races
are the types that are a little harder to play like the four armed
Maca or the mechanical Arachnia clockworks.
There are five base classes (warrior, thief, mage, cleric, shaman)
that each have many subclasses. The subclasses add more skills and/or
spells to better your character, like a base thief can subclass into
an assassin, bard, burglar, or rake.
The world is huge and challenging at first. Once you get past that
you will be hooked like the rest of us that play.
The mud has a small but loyal pbase that over the years has become
like a family and new members are always welcomed. Come check it out,
give it a chance, you won’t be sorry you did.

Don't forget the skills and spells.
I think that it's probably the uniqueness of all the skills and
spells that gives Xaos code its replayability. I mean, I know that
I'd get bored of killing the Lightning Claws in the depths of the
Lair of the Ice Wyrm, if it weren't for the fun of things like
starburst's reflecting area affect or the unpredictability of chain
lightning when your enemies die off, leaving you as the only target
for the lightning to ground itself or the endless use that you can
get out of pyrotechnics, since it both burns and blinds in an area.
And those are just off the top of my head, not to mention all the
strange thief skills and whatnot.
I guess, then, that it's all about the strange things that've
slowly gathered uniqueness over the course of Xaos' history.
