I'm currently...well was a player of Dragonball: Infinity. I was
recently banned for 'botting' which for anyone who doesn't know is
using triggers to gain experience or improve yourself in some way and
leaving it on (i.e. Overnight to gain lots of PL). Now I wasn't
exactly botting, but this isn't about me.
I do admit that DB:I is a fun MUD. I was only there a short time but
most of the people were quite nice. I did get help when I asked for it
a few times but I got help nonetheless, which is better than alot of
other MUDs out there. DB:I is fun by creating many different RPs,
along with quests. Like I said though, I wasn't there long.
The realistic thing about it is that the skills do take a little
while to master, but its alot better then mastering them all in a day
and then being bored while gaining PL.
One really bad thing about DB:I is the crashes. I'm not quite sure
on the most recent changes, but it has crashed quite a bit in only two
nights. The main bad thing about that is when you really want to play
you can't. Now its only down for the maximum time of like, ten
minutes, but sometimes when you log on you could have lost (in my
case) about five to ten thousand PL. One Imm was fairly nice and took
time out of his coding to just help me, which I thought was pretty
nice. It definitely made me want to play alot more.
So I think if I had to give DB:I a score I'd give it around a B+.
The Crashes weren't so much bad as they were annoying.
