The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Amigone]

I stumbled upon wormhole while trying to find a combination of a pair
of my favorite pastimes, Text-Based Adventure, and Science Fiction.
Countless years later, and I'm still addicted.
Classes, races, remorting. They're all buzzwords to me. It doesn't
matter if the base isn't solid. And the base in this case is some
very solidly built areas. Wormhole was the first mud I ever played
for more than a week, and that was only because I enjoyed the writing
so much.
Sci-Fi muds are difficult to come by. And most are limited in scope.
Wormhole combines the best elements of so many ideas. You can run
through an ewok village, check out the Klingon homeworld, eat lunch at
Milliways, or enter one of the original creations. You've got
blasters and lightsabers, giant ants and cyberspace programs, a planet
where plants are mobile and animals are rooted to the ground, and a
dueling system to battle to be the strongest on the mud.
Many of the zones are written with humor and entertainment in mind. I
often return to areas that I'd otherwise have no business in, just to
reread some of the witty descriptions.
I have recently made the transition from Player to Builder, and I hope
to see Wormhole continue to grow. New areas are under development,
along with new technologies to improve the player experience. The
only thing that Wormhole is really lacking right now is players. It's
tough to recover from a long hiatus, but if more people could see what
I see in Wormhole, I'm sure it'd packed in no time.
