I can simply say that Crossroads is the best Mush I've played on.
The theme is medieval fantasy, and you can read up a lot about it on
the detailed and comprehensive website.
Suffice to say that even though it is an original world, the theme is
extremely well detailed and consistent across.
Now to get to the real meat of this review. Anyone reading this has
probably read about friendly admin and players on a plethora of
Mush's/Mud's. Crossroads is the first one I have found to have these
qualities in reality!!
From the moment I came on, I was almost innundated with attention
right from the designated newbie helper straight to the head wiz.
Within 2 hrs and I kid you not of having sent my app,I received a
reply confirming approval. On the website they say it takes 48 hours
for approval, its nothing close to that:).
Having such a responsive setup also means that players take their
cue from this and pretty much invite you to Rp with them.
I live in a different time zone from the states and its therefore a
big problem for me to Rp coz my timings are so different. No such
problems with Crossroads...I've never found anything less than 14-15
players minimum at a time when I've seen other Mushes completely
deserted.
The players here are a mad bunch, dedicated to Rp at all odd hours of
the morning:))
Enough said if you're interested in a friendly, fun and yet intense
Rp environment, give Crossroads a try.
