The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Zegorion]
and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.
Mozart has grown extensively through its 14+ years of existence:
from a relatively small 50 level mud with many imported areas to an
enormous and dynamic experience with an incredible balance in
gameplay that is derived from mostly custom coding. This is just one
representation of the tremendous dedication and service to the
gaming environment that the staff upholds. Mozart itself is a great
challenge - one that is quite fair, but at the same time will cause
you do think a little and learn a lot. It is easy to get started
with some basic equipment and levels for those without a great deal
of experience - and many players are helpful in providing direction.
Me? Well I live in the Underdark. A separate area below the
surface where the world isn't quite as 'fair'. We (the drow and the
'slave' races) are in a constant struggle with the deep gnomes
allowing us to defend ourselves and our city agains other players
(PK legal). While some may consider it harsh and unforgiving, the
thrills and comrodery go unmatched. As well as routinely
in the arena (PK legal battle area for the entire mud), we 'darkies'
show the surface 'faeries' that the dark is where it's at. When you
log on, don't be shy.
