Dragon's Exodus...
This is one of the few games that breaks the mold of a game. Being an
EOSII codebase, the game has some very difficult code built into it.
However, the coders have manipulated the code, adding many
interesting features such as hooded cloaks, mortal homes (not easy to
obtain by any stretch), an orchard area where you can kill
crabapples...the list goes on.
I started playing this game in the seventh grade, not understanding
much about text-based games. Since I started playing, my WPM has shot
from 25wpm to 80wpm. This game, especially more than others, built up
my WPM.
There are many lines of description for each room. I have seen games
that pass three lines of text as a room. Most rooms in DE have six
lines of text, twice the quality of the other games.
To conclude, EOSII rocks and DE is a very strong game.
