In my time playing on DragonBall: Infinity, both as a player and an
administrator, the playerbase and staff has never ceased to amaze me.
Day after day after day I find old friends and new acquaintances that
enhance the gaming experience. Of course, there is, infrequently, the
odd troublemaker, as there is on every MUD, but these are mostly of
the type who log on for about three minutes before being dealt with.
An ever-expanding DragonBall Z - and other worlds - universe with
builders who know how to do their job, do it quickly and do it well,
means there are always new places to explore, new items to obtain and
new puzzles to solve.
A roleplay system that is very indepth - unlike many DragonBall Z
muds, which offer little more than fighting, fighting, and more
fighting, storyline advancement is highly encouraged and players are
usually well rewarded for unique thinking.
Coding changes that make the mud unique are always emerging. Where
else are you going to find Nameks who grow so great simply by
meditating their lives away? Kaios, who either oversee the worlds or
seek to destroy them, based on their whims... Demons, Ghettis, Magic-
Demons, such as Majin-Buu, Hydians like Zarbon, the list goes on and
on. And the classes are so well balanced that nearly any player of
any skill level can have the time of their life on the race they
adore. Or, design your own attack and obliterate your opponents with
it!
DragonBall: Infinity, of the many MUDs I've played for years on end,
continues to bring new experiences and new inspirations to me daily.
The playerbase is more than willing to help out a new player with
information regarding commands, and the Newbie Council is always
there to lend a helping hand if someone needs it. For new MUDers,
experienced players and those seeking a new game to whittle the time
away, I highly recommend DragonBall: Infinity.
