Realms of the Dragon is by far one of the best MUDs of its type that
I have ever played on. It is a huge universe which supports a great
selection of wonderfully diverse races, guilds, and organizations. The
quest system is one of the best I have ever seen, offering a wide
variety of challenging puzzles for those who want to diversify their
xping experience from the typical mindless hack and slash of countless
monsters.
The recent addition of numerous new armour pieces has allowed players
to customize their characters even more. The balance and variety
achieved with the different guilds allows people to come and have fun
in many different capacities. People who enjoy combat can try some of
the 'power' guilds while those who enjoy playing supportive roles
can find other classes which allow them to play an important part of
the RoD universe.
RoD is a great MUD which is always generating new and original ideas.
Although it takes a bit to get on your feet and learn the place, it's
well worth the time and effort.
