Dragon Ball Star has to be one of the best DragonBall muds out there.
There are a multitude of races to choose from, all with their own
advantages and disadvantages, and changes are always being implemented.
Although the roleplay is sketchy at best, it does provide a means for
people to take a break from the normal hack and slash routine.

A word of warning to new players, however, the staff and especially
the players(most of them anyway) are not very willing to help and
would sooner cut you down than lend you a helping hand.(Asking
for help may just make you a target for PK) Also, if you are easily
offended and/or insulted I would recommend that you stay away from
DBStar as insults and profanity run rampant here.

It all comes down to who the player is. The code is awesome, but the
gameplay can be a bit rough. So I would advise to keep your npk on
and your head down to avoid any unwanted flak; this is especially true
as a newbie.

Well, as one of the oldest players/Immortals around, I hate to say
most of the things Trunton has said are true. Although I am rarely on
nowadays, I'd like to see the playerbase change for the better.
Finally, things seem to be getting together, and I would love to see
it continue to do so.

Playerkilling and insulting, as well as lack of newbie helping,
isn't as bad as when I first started playing DBStar. I remember a
time back when the highest characters all had Immortals alternates
that they used to help. Now, I see many faces on the hiscore boards,
of people who have actually played the game to know it, instead of
just peeking at the programming and building. Things have changed
since then, and as stated before, we've advanced much since then. I
hope Trunton's review won't turn many away. I only wanted to state,
as one of the Immortals who has seen this game though, that we are
taking turns for the better, not for the worse.

On behalf of Dragonball Star, happy gaming.
