Xaos is a vast always growing world of excitement though currently
the overall amount of players daily involved is not what it should be
for the eight years of it's lifespan as a MUD. Each individual player
plays a large role in how Xaos changes from time to time. Having
played a few other muds I found that Xaos is quite unique in the
balancing of PK and RPing allowed amongst the players.
The admin and staff agrees that PK is sometimes an important part of
RP in general. The restrictions are made clear and punishments are
given depending on how severe the offence is.
As before stated in the summary by the Xaos coder new players may
often feel overwhelmed in facing the new world Xaos opens to them.
Multiplaying is very illegal and frowned upon greatly; however,
multiple alts on one profile is allowed. The best way to learn the
ropes with Xaos is hands on experience; the playerbase is always
willing to help newbies and the staff always goes out of their way to
lend a hand. Questions are never frowned upon or ignored and it's
best to ask numerous questions and ask them often.
I would say this mud is great for those who enjoy RP without being
restricted to non PK related RP. Levelling for Xaos is always growing
and the building staff never stop adding new areas. Xaos is growing
daily and with more players the sky is the limit.
