It's true you do make good friends at IOM. The problem with IOM is the
IMM and IMP staff are horrible, (except Eric) and the pbase is
extremely weak- 5-10 players at most at a time. There will be hours
where no one is there, not even an IMM. Also, out of the 5-10 most of
the time 3 of them are an IMM multi playing.
This mud is extremely easy to play. There is no challenge, once you
hit 50 it's VERY boring. It's true there are societies, but without
people being on there is no point. And the two 'PK' societies BLue
Rose and Dark Mist, when there are Blue Rose people on, Dark Mist
people log off and Vice versa.
PK is rare and if you don't have the right Imm friends you will get
in trouble for killing most of the time either being banned or frozen.
The staff only want to help themselves and do nothing for the players.
Why have I been there for years then you may ask? Partly hoping to
get an IMM and change things that have gone way downhill from a mud
that I loved.
This mud used to be great, and is now in decay and should be shot and
put out of it's misery. There are many more better muds out there and
in my opinion this mud is not worth your time. Orthanc
