As far as RP environment goes, I'm rather impressed with the
efforts of the immortals running the quests, and those of the
players, who interact ICly on a day to day basis, bringing
their characters to life as if they themselves were standing
under the light of the three Moons. The classes are well
thought-out, and contribute to the overall quality and
variety of roleplay.

That's where my appreciation of the mud ends. The imms,
while helpful, can also tend to be biased. Despite claims to
the contrary by the implementors, where they say such does not
happen, I have seen preferential treatment and favoritism run
amok. Both imms and admins abusing their abilities...Using
OOC information ICly during roleplay, giving 'favors'
(spellups, restores) to preferred players and imm-played PC's,
etc.

There have been several instances where I was told I was not
allowed to do something (roleplay a certain way, use certain
information, etc.) when an imm-played character or favored player 
already went ahead and did just that with no problems.

Anyway, this is my own opinion...I can't say whether or not
you'll enjoy the mud, you'll have to come on in and find out
for yourself.
