The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Silver]
and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.
This mud is very well designed, it's typical Godwars with a twist that
makes it almost irresistable to play. Starting a character is a
cinch. However, getting details on advantages and disadvantages of
classes are hard to find from the very thin amounts of help files.
Sadly, when you can find helpfiles, they're usually not very helpful
beyond a vague description and possibly lists of commands.
On the upside, the player base and staff are so wonderful here, you
almost don't need the helpfiles because you can ask question to just
about anyone and they'll answer with a smile.
The depth of the vast changes that they made over the original code
is astounding. It all oozes uniqueness and style from the moment you
become a custom class or view the other character's forms from chat
or in person.
And I haven't even started about the staff yet; these people that
work behind the scenes at this mud put passion into their work and
show that the players are truly important. What I found impressive
was I made a mistake by breaking a rule by accident and I was able to
sit down and actually have a conversation with the immortal that
noticed my mistake. He was all friendly about it. Even though I
was punished by deletion, which was according to the rules, I
returned because I had so many choices that I had to try another
class.
The list of features goes on from the quality of the work to the
availablity of not only stock areas, but custom areas. And I dare
you to find a quest system as difficult as this on any other godwars
mud. It's almost frustrating here, but in the best ways.
