The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Thrud] and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.

I joined Mozart a year and a half back. I had never mudded
before although I *did* do quite a bit of gaming on my PC.
I'm disabled these days, so I have a lot of time to do with
as I will - and guess what? The all-singing, all-dancing 3D
games are history - . I have an over-powered computer and a
512k broadband link virtually unused in real
terms. Why? Mozart, here's why...

I'm hooked on Mozart. From the start I was made welcome by
players from all walks of life and parts of the world. They
helped me to learn, to explore, to become involved...

There are a multitude of zones, all with a different
atmosphere. I love the skill-system, which makes sense to
me: I love not having to pay to rent. The class/race balance
is well thought out and there's no one way to play the game.
You can suit your style and personal goals to yourself.

The rules are simple and straightforward. There are a very
few, clear 'Thou Shalt Not's' which don't detract from the
play in any sense.

I have spent a *lot* of time online with Mozart in the last
eighteen months, and I'm still learning, still coming back
for more. Overall I'd say the player-group is like a family
- which means sometimes you squabble, other times you just
get down and laugh a lot. But I can't stick with any other
mud I've tried.

I think what Mozart has taught me most - especially when I'm
creeping round some unfamiliar zone feeling nervous and with
that feeling of doom like a cloud above me - is that text and
imagination are far more powerful than any 3D engine I know
of.

Come and try us. You might not like us. But you'll certainly
find a welcome, and after that - who knows?
