The following review is the opinion of the review's author [Trevor (Osian)] and in no way represents the opinions of this website or its staff.

Legends of Cosrin is a MUD unlike most. It's a roleplaying
MUD, it's a questing MUD, it's a hunting MUD, all somehow
rolled into one. And believe it or not, it somehow works.

The roleplay in Cosrin is tremendous. Certain characters have
become legendary. There are fighters who are well-known for
defending what's right, and warlocks whose name is always spoken
in a whisper, for fear they might be listening, somehow. Many
of the stories of the past are available to be read in various
libraries--and some great ones are being created everyday.

The Guild system in Cosrin has a huge influence upon the workings
of the lands. While it's not required, nearly every character
joins one of the four guilds, by completing an entry quest. Here
is where skills and/or spells are taught, where weapons are
purchased, and where you'll experience a real sense of community.
Within each guild, there are different paths one can follow, often
culminating in the joining of a subguild. Many players consider
the joining of their subguild to be one of their happiest moments.
These areas are made to be very special. Also, there is the Guilds'
leadership. This is done mainly by a character elected as Guild
Master, along with his or her appointed Guild Lieutenants. These
people work closely along with staff to make real changes in the
lands.

And of course there's the fully customizable Wizard front-end.
This program makes interaction with the lands incredibly easy, and
makes one's experience much more enjoyable.

So come, pay us a visit. Try your hand at solving some of the
mysteries of the land, start a Clan, make your way onto the Ranking
tables, or just play your character in the lands, and leave your
specific mark.
