Top of the Line like many (if not all muds) use experience points
for the advancement of characters. Experience points are used to
raise stats (strength, intelligence, willpower, constitution,
dexterity, and charisma) which determine how powerful you are (stat
wise). You gain experience points from killing monsters (or players)
and solving quests (or puzzles).
Our wizards pride themselves on actually listening to the input from
mortals and designing the mud around suggestions and ideas from the
whole community. We are currently and always looking for mortals &
wizards to join the ranks of TOTL.
The Rules of TotL
There are only two VERY simple and relatively understandable rules
of conduct on Top of the Line (as per the most wise and benevolent;
EotL):
1. Have fun.
2. Don't piss off anyone bigger than you.
