Since ancient Senet, man has been fascinated with games that could be
played around a table. The concept of Board Games and Tabletop Games
predates most forms of writing, or so say the historians. From Mills
to Chess, and Chess to wargames, and from wargames into Dungeons &
Dragons, gaming has evolved and grown until it became one of the most
popular pasttimes for families and friends the world over.

TableMUSH is a social environment; a world of gaming whose philosophy
is that all games--no matter how they are played or why, so long as
they bring two or more players together, they should be welcomed here.
Although the focus of TableMUSH is on modern role-playing games such
as Dungeons & Dragons, Werewolf or Shadowrun, no game that involves
two or more players and can be played within the policies of the
community will ever be turned away.
