In 1995, Stormbringer MUD opened.  For me, Stormbringer was 
a both a learning and growing up experience where I learned more 
than the outside world could teach me.

I don't know how, but I received an invitation to try it during 
those first few weeks, and remained a player for several years 
after until it vanished.  I eventually migrated to 
Stormbringer: Rebirth MUD with several other displaced players.  
Finally forced into a situation where I would not be allowed to 
continue with my guild (because of new role playing restrictions 
in Rebirth), I accepted a position among the Immortal staff.

At one point, PwrDemon contacted the Rebirth admin and gave us a 
copy of the original sourcecode, areas, and player files, which I 
currently have in my possession.

Now, my first son has recently arrived and for some reason it 
is important for me to have this light on.  I invite all previous 
players to login, your pfiles are still here, and post a note or 
two.  Tell each other where you've been, how your doing, and any 
retrospectives on Stormbringer itself.
