The Old Republic: (3653 BBY)

For 25 years the war between the Sith Empire and the Republic
has continued. Utilizing various ruthless tactics, including
the recruitment of the Mandalorians, the Sith continue to seize
territories such as the Minos Cluster, while destroying the
shipyards at Sluis Van. With many in the Senate believing the war
unwinnable, a peace summit is called. While in attendance, a
strike force of Sith led by Darth Malgus assaults Coruscant,
destroying the Jedi Temple there and forcing the signing of
the unbalanced Treaty of Coruscant and ending the war.

Factions within factions abound as Jedi and Republic military
splinter cells believe that the fight should continue, many
disagreeing on how. Struggles for power within the Sith, as
the mysterious Sith Emperor disappears, also aid in the
propogation of a new Cold War between the Sith and the Republic
and tensions are high as every sentient in the galaxy watches
nervously for signs of another Great War.

Will you join the Sith Empire or aid a recovering Republic?
Will you follow the Light Side of the Force or gain power
in the darkness of the Sith? Forge new hyperspace lanes in
your own ship or smuggle much-needed (and quite valuable) goods
to those who can make it worth your while?
Make your choice, make history.

The Rebellion Era: (0ABY)

It is a time of great strife and confusion throughout the galaxy.
Order 66 failed to completely wipe out all of the Jedi, giving
each a terrible choice. Go into hiding, choosing exile and
isolation in the hopes that the Force would reveal what their
course of action should be, or join the new Galactic Empire,
becoming Sith apprentices under Lord Vader's guidance and falling
to the Dark Side of the Force as they ruthlessly begin the hunt
for their previous allies.

Yet there is hope. A resistance movement has begun to be whispered
about amongst those who yearn for freedom from the yoke of the
Empire. Cells have sprung into being in small pockets across the
galaxy, multiplying and spreading until at last, now, a fledgling
Rebellion has taken root.

Alderaan has become nothing more than an asteroid field. The First
Death Star has been destroyed. The Rebellion has moved to the cold
planet of Hoth to continue their efforts against the Empire,
gathering to them those remnants of Jedi that have survived.

Will you heed the call to arms of the Rebellion? Will you hunt these
rebels into extinction and forever crush the idea of resisting the
mighty Empire? Or will you remain on the sides, making profit and
staying out of affairs that do not concern you unless you are paid
to be concerned?

Our MUSH takes place during two different times in the Star Wars
universe. The Old Republic side begins just before the Jedi Civil
War, roughly 3653 BBY while our other timeline begins at the dawn of
the Rebellion era, at 0ABY. You are able to create characters in
BOTH timelines, though for obvious reasons these characters won't be
able to ICly interact. Each generation will have a separate grid to
RP on with old fan favorite locales as well as some new places to
experience and explore. We are a modified D6 system, with code
generously ported from Star Wars: Unsung Heroes with permission and
modified by our staff.
