 In elden times, it is now said, Dragons ruled.  They created a civilization 
of immense beauty, sophistication, justice and law.  And then Sidal 
descended, and chaos ruled.  Now the races that were ur-races in Dragon
times are struggling for power and control in this modern age.  Humans
are ascendant from their main cities of New Draconia and Sidalicia, but
never discount the others; the Faea, Grulorten, Ertlorten, Korylani, Velinga
and Jotuni.

This mud features carefully crafted zones, with detailed descriptions which
change depending on daylight and season.  Mobs have personality, many 
offer quests, some offer puzzles, or jokes, many have tricks up their sleeves.
The world of Sidalicia is intended to age, rulers of kingdoms will change, years
and seasons will be marked in their passing.  Here weather and geography are
important, and magical control and knowlege of both is possible.  Sidalicia is
a new mud, just opened for players, and is therefore small and intimate.  It is
a complex mud in some ways, many things have been changed from stock
Circle, including the factors affecting combat.  Much thought has gone into
making Sidalicia original, thoughtful and absorbing.  Roleplaying is encouraged
but not strictly enforced and Sidalicia is exploring other ways, besides hack
and slash to advance a character (most based on questing and knowledge of
