Welcome to Shattered Lands!

Shattered Lands, (formerly known as Ancient Realms), was 
started in 1992, based on the popular series Forgotten 
Realms. It is a stable, well rounded MUD offering both 
Role-Play and Player-Killing with countless features added 
to both aspects of the game. We offer extended class and 
race selection, subraces, and encourage participation in 
clans and Role-Play. Class balance is taken very seriously, 
and with the hundreds of added spells, weapon capability and 
racial skills we ensure each race and class is not only fun, 
but fair.

On Shattered Lands there is always something to do, from storming 
the enemies Clan Hall, the Battle Arena, Role-Playing or PK-ing 
with other players, Questing for new items at the town Quest Master 
or seeking the many quests scattered throughout the areas for a 
broad range of rewards. 

While we are fully developed, we are not stagnant about coding 
new features. Players are encouraged to post new ideas on the 
idea board, as we work to maintain a unique and growing world.
