STAR WARS: UNSUNG HEROES

It has been a hard-fought battle, but the fledgling NEW REPUBLIC
has won several major victories over its enemies in rapid
succession. Grand Admiral Thrawn has been defeated. Admiral Daala
has been removed from the Maw Installation and the super-weapon
research there has been halted. Even the resurrected Emperor has
been destroyed for all time, consumed by the Dark Side. The Jedi
Knight Luke Skywalker has set up a Jedi Academy on the world of
YAVIN IV, and many candidates are stepping forward to join the
ranks of the New Jedi Knights, to help usher in a new era of
peace and prosperity for the citizens of the galaxy.

But the darkness has not passed fully. Remnants of the
EVIL GALACTIC EMPIRE are even now marshalling their forces and
consolidating power around the Imperial stronghold world known
as BASTION. Lead by Admiral Daala and Vice-Admiral Pellaeon, the
Imperial war machine seeks to regain lost territory and reestablish
its former glory. But even more disturbing, there have been
stirrings on the old Sith world of KORRIBAN. The seductive call
of the Dark Side of the Force is being heard by many would-be Sith
Masters who are following its siren's voice to a new destiny...

UNSUNG HEROES is set in the Star Wars universe roughly eight years
after the destruction of the second Death Star at Endor, just a
short while after the events of th Jedi Academy novel series.
While the Feature Characters of Star Wars (Luke, Leia, Han, etc.)
are still around, they are NPC 'background' characters. It could
be that your character may run into or interact with one of these
feature characters, but we focus on the heroic (or evil!) pursuits
of the players' characters and not on the feature characters of the
Star Wars universe.

Some features of the game:
* Force Users (Jedi, Sith, or Non-Aligned) are available by open
  application.

* You can play up to four different characters, two of which can
be 'special' characters such as Force users or characters who
  are in leadership roles.

* While our primary focus is roleplay, we have fully coded skill,
space, and combat systems: For those times when talking just
isn't going to get the job done!
