Although RIFTs is a highly combat and power oriented RPG, Rise From Chaos is about
building relationships and telling entertaining stories, while exploring a fantasy life in a
science fiction setting. Tolkeen is a frontier kingdom, a haven for those who would be
persecuted elsewhere for their differences. The city-state is itself one link in a short
chain of alliances, their goal - survival against the many enemies at the doorstep: the
Coalition (a human supremacist, military organization); predatory dimensional beings
(D-Bees); supernatural entities whose thoughts and purposes are too alien to comprehend; as
well, humanity's own personal demons, living amongst and within - ignorance, power-lust, and
vice.

    The PCs of RfC live in a dangerous and mysterious world. Tolkeen's own secrets, of her
origin and her survival, are yet to be discovered. Should you choose to take part, your
impact upon this enduring quest will enrich the story today, and the story still untold.

    The kingdom has been built to allow extensive travel outside the main city, offering
