The Prophecies of the Pattern world offers a unique twist and vision
on the Wheel of Time Series created by Robert Jordan. On PotP we
strive to make a game that is as close to the series as possible
while also letting the hand of fate control the story.

For the people that enjoy the gameplay on MUDs we've built a range of
features over time that perfectly gears our game towards the Wheel of
Time series. We provide things like a custom channeling system,
bladeforms, tiered skills, most of the book races, events and much
much more. For the roleplayers among us we have a range of features
that allow them to write RPs, special designated RP areas, a number
of commands for live roleplaying and a very extensive customization
system to set up your character just the way you want it to be.

Our storyline moves forward at a comfortable pace, letting people
hook in where and how they like. We reserve a few of the biggest
events in the books for the actual book characters but let the
players run the rest of the story.

At the moment of writing this is where we are at, storywise:

The Bowl of Winds founds its way to the Shadow and is now being
pursued in order to be able to clear the chaos in the world and
return the weather back to normal. The Seanchan have taken hold
of Altara and the Dome of Light, leaving the Children of the Light
to roam the lands. The White and Black towers both are attempting to
turn around the course of events but as often as not struggle with
each other in their attempts to take control of a situation.

"Embrace your fate, before the Wheel does."
