Nightmist Online is a Partially Text-based MuD ( Multi-User Dungeon).
That is to say, there are many players from around the world at the same
time interacting together. You begin by generating your own character,
with strengths and weaknesses which are individual to you. You choose your
class, and your race. Next you are put into a medieval world, where there
are monsters, and players, shops, taverns, guilds, and all sorts of other
things. What will you do? Perhaps you will seek out the legendary Gorgon
Beast, and bring back some trophy? Or maybe you would prefer to become a
thief, hiding and stealing gold off players and monsters. It is your choice,
so choose wisely!

The best way to experience this game is for you and some friends to
download it, and play together. It can be a little confusing at first, but
there is an ingame help section (activated by typing 'help' at any time).
