Ensimud is a bilingual ( french & english ) hack & slash mud. 
Created in early 94, it has been heavily modified from its
original code base ( Circle 2 ). 
Major additions are : AI'ed monsters, player house, chests & clan, 
treasures table to equip npcs, encounter tables to populate areas, 
custom autoquest script language, random generated quest zones, 
questlike craft system, and of course a switch to french texts.

The world is fantasy oriented, with circle 2.20 original areas and 
lots of custom zones,races,classes,spells... The mud is currently 
not very newbie friendly, but rather oriented toward high level 
characters grinding.


A rewriting of the mud is in process, orienting the game toward a 
turn by turn and tactical rpg, using an new and open source codebase.
