Clout is the world's first politically-themed MMORPG. You play a Congressperson in the US Federal Congress. It's also technically not a MUD, but I think any MUD user will find themselves right at home. You connect through a browser and interact with a text-based interface that operates much like a MUD, but with a lot of nice convenience features that are impossible with telnet.
