A FROZEN CASTLE WREATHED IN MYSTERIES

Welcome to Castle Marrach, a fantastic world of secrets, intrigue,
magic, and romance, set within an ancient fortress, hidden away on a
tall, isolated mountain top. The outer world is but legend, so those
within turn inward, and the mysteries of Castle Marrach hang heavy,
like a shroud — Who built the ageless castle? How did it come to be
cut off from the outer world? Where did the members of the Court come
from? Why have so many of the inhabitants lost their memories? And
why is it forbidden to speak of any season except Winter?

Sitting alone atop Mount Ardan, Castle Marrach has been locked in a
Forever Winter that has lasted for hundreds of years, perhaps longer.
Some say the winter endures due to the hold of the Royal Consort,
Lord Boreas, over his wife Vivienne, the half-fae Queen of Marrach.
Some, however, say it is a time of change and there is another— a
rival long lost and perhaps even longer forgotten. Who is this man?
Where has he gone, and how can he be found? Might he truly bring with
him Forgotten Summer? And what of those who say “Spring before
Summer…”

Now in its twelfth year, Castle Marrach is a multiplayer textbased
interactive storytelling game where hundreds of players from around
the world delve into its mysteries. Marrach is a consent-based
narrative theatre where roleplaying is stressed over physical combat.
There are skills in the game, but the enemies and allies you earn are
far more important than skill or rank points. Favor earned through
intense role-playing is the currency of Castle Marrach.
