Every morning the sun rises on Ellensburg,
Washington - a flourishing town complete with
 a long-standing historical background, a
flourishing tourist trade, and a thriving
college within its all-American borders.
Every morning, the school busses run, the
college students sleep off hangovers, and
 the town gossips circulate the latest about
 racy middle-aged affairs that nobody actually
 wants to envision. In short, mornings in
Ellensburg bring about normalcy...something
the town has a bit of an /issue/ with at night.

No, there's not much evidence of it, really.
Sure, there have been an odd number of
disappearances lately. And yeah, it can be a
 little creepy near the woods at night, but who
 goes out there anyway? Oh! And some of the elders
 in town sometimes tell stories about the town's
mythical or magical past or something, but it's
 all talk. That's what they like to believe, anyway.

In truth, Ellensburg is much more than the
northwest's hundredth clone of Smalltown, USA.
It's a meeting place for the outcasts of the
daylight - the vampires, the werewolves, the
ones with magical abilities. Maybe it's because
of the high deposit of precious gems in the
earth below the town, or the rich historical past,
maybe not. It sure is something - a something that
 the residents have yet to discuss over the morning
 paper. Hold on, Ellensburg. 

Bloodlines is a MUSH set within the theme of the
 Vampire Diaries series. The game takes place in a
 different town without any of the characters from
 the series and is based mostly around college-aged
 characters. Original and creative concepts welcomed.
