In this world, set in the year 2072, magic, technology, myth
and legend are all part of reality, from fireball-throwing magicians
to actual dragons to cyborgs and Artificial Intelligence. And in the
shadows of huge Megacorporations, some people (Shadowrunners) make a
living by doing the illegal activities that those corporate executives
will not dirty their hands doing.

Augmented Realities is an RP mud built on Shadowrun 4th Edition set
of rules. While it is new and still being built, character generation
is nearing its completion. Currently able to support almost all basic
character creation options and even a built in dice roller for hosted
games. Character archetypes are fully supported, be they the street
samurai, a hacker, a magician, a technomancer, or an adept.

Semi-daily updates to the code mean the place is always evolving.

Features planned for the future:
GM-Mode - Will allow players to host runs and give rewards.
Building - The world will literally be built by players, completely.
Runs - Automated runs will be available at some point.
PK - Players can kill other players, even the admins, permanently!
Organizations - Players will be able to start and join Shadow Orgs.
Crafting - Creating new items from raw materials will be possible.
Territory - Players will claim buildings and even areas.

Philosophy:

AR is a mud built for players, by players. The admin staff will not
interfere in the day to day lives of players in an OOC fashion. As
long as the rules are followed and the code works, admins will be
completely indecipherable from a regular player.
