Okies, the term alternative lifestyle can be used to refer to a lot of stuff. In the most common termonology referring to sexuality it is indeed used to refer to homosexuality. However, as you've all noticed, it's a bit of an open ended term that can mean anything from trans-gender relationships to BDSM fetishes, and so forth and so on. As far as the post below, I'd take it in the broadest of meanings, and apply it to all things not termed 'vanilla'. Then again, that's bound to impose some difficulty as I know few mu*s that are open to all of the above without becoming any of the things that were termed undisirable. Hope this helped some. :)

Ah I see it's one of those new politically correct terms. Like when we substituted 'challenged' for 'handicapped' which was previously known as 'crippled'. In this case we substitute 'alternative' for the old term 'perverted'. Got it. Thanks. :-)
