Greetings MUDders,

I hope this little cry for help finds you on a spectacular day. I however, am not so happy. You see, I have a vision for a MUD, and yet I have no help to get this vision to come true.

Let me show you my vision first:
A player logs on to the MUD, and is just blown away. Not only is there a VAST amount of "professions" can he or she choose from, but there are many skills, capabilities, and customization to go through. They can be a pilot, or simply put, a whore.

This world is based off of a series that a devoted fan base knows of, and a movie created from that series after demand of that fan base had been so great it could not be ignored. This is based off of the Firefly universe, or as others might know it, the Serenity universe.

Firefly is a "space western". Earth is no more, wasted, much like the path we see ourselves going through now. In Firefly you learn the path of a few characters, Malcolm, the captain of Serenity (a spaceship of the Firefly class), Zoe, the right-hand gal, Wash, pilot and beloved husband of Zoe, Jayne, the tracker and mobile armory, Kaylee, the mechanic, Simon, the doctor and brother, River, sister and psychic, and Inara, a companion (think Geisha in Japan's old days) also known as ambassador. This is as much as I will tell you, but I do highly recommend renting or buying both the series and movie. Firefly was canceled after a handful of episodes, only for its fans to rise and force a movie to be made.

This MUD will be run after the transmission of a signal, with which the movie Serenity will explain. I will not ruin it for you.

So, how can you help? Well, like any MUD, we need builders. Not only builders, we need dreamers. We also need idea people. Firefly is only the beginning. We will start off based off of Firefly, but to fly and become our own. If you just want to hang around the forums, fine. Player test? Fine. You want to build, or script, excellent.

Want to be a builder, but not sure how? That's OK! If you have decent English skills, and good grammar (or can use their respective checks in a program like Word, or Open Office), stop on in.

Now for the technical things:
We are based off of a SWR code base, which is also based off of Smaug. This OnLine Creation system is easy to learn.

Just wondering if anyone is actually reading (and refreshing) and interested :)
