Hello all,

Once again I'm making a bid for Staff. We are currently hoping to undergo major changes to make our realm more unique, although I will need more than just me to achieve this feat. We are currently looking Coders and Builders that are willing to put in their time and dedication, just as much as I am to make a good roleplay mud. For more details, or if you would like to speak with me in game you may contact the following:

I'm confused. I'd heard that Ilyrias had lost its Rapture licence, but I wasn't expecting it to switch to ROM...does this mean it's no longer going commercial? Or is this just another mud that's taken the same name?

This would be better phrased as someone who has USED the same name. As persistent realms did not make up the word Ilyrias and obviously "borrowed" it as well.

Yeah? I've never heard of Ilyrias before - it is a real place name?

Well, "Ilyria" was a kingdom back in the day.

And also Illyria was the kingdom setting for Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night". And more recently the name of a private school in "She's the Man" with Amanda Bynes which of course was a loose adaptation of the play.
